Foodbank

We help support the Horsham District Foodbank. The foodbank is a project run from Horsham Matters, supported by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in Horsham District. Clients are provided with at least 3 days’ worth of food and will also be signposted to other sources of help if appropriate.

People can bring in items to leave at the church. Please make sure all items brought in have over 3 months best before date. They are also in need of extra strong carrier bags, which are used to give the parcel to a family.

Regular items that are needed for a typical food parcel can be found on their website. You can also view items that they urgently need, and have got plenty of, on their website as well.

Each year, at our Harvest service, we ask those attending our service to bring items with them for our Harvest display. All the items are then taken to the foodbank. The photo below is what we collected in September 2023.
