Hi, I’m Brian, married to Sarah (since 1988) and we have four sons. Michael is married to Natalie, Peter is married to Beth, Alex and Joshua are still living at home. I trained at Spurgeon’s College in 1992-96 and came to TRBC from my first church in 2003. I have a deep love of rock music; particularly that of the late 60s and 70s Led Zeppelin, Wishbone Ash, Free, Deep Purple…you get the picture. I also like Crystal Palace FC, cricket, fishing (freshwater), walking, live music, reading, chocolate, beer and curry. I love Jesus. I came to faith at a baptismal service in 1987 when I found out that God is real and he knows me and he loves me and that Jesus died for me. That simple fact changed everything for me and still does.
Administrator & Leader
Hello! I'm Faith and I have been a part of TRBC since I was born and have been a member since I was 14 years old. I became part of the leadership team in January 2015 and started my job of part-time administrator for the church in April of the same year. When you phone or email the office, chances are it will be me you will be speaking too! If you do come into the office, you will probably work out my desk because of the sheep mug and coaster, as they are my favourite animal. If you hear me listening to the radio when you come by, I will probably be listening to Test Match Special, as I am a big cricket fan! When I'm not working at the church, or preparing services or helping with the youth group, I will probably be catching up with some of the latest dramas on TV. Or, during the summer, you will probably find me watching cricket, either on TV or live, especially when I'm at Lords Cricket Ground, working at my second job as a steward there! (If you happen to go, come along to the Grace Gate and say hi!) I've been through a lot in my life, suffering some loss along the way, but knowing that my Lord and Saviour has been there with me, through it all, and always will be, helps me keep going with my life and serving Him.
